Top 10 Favorite Restaurants in Yaletown
Downtown Vancouver
Table of Contents
I needed to add my Top 10 Favorite Restaurants in Yaletown. Since this neighborhood is the area in which I have lived for 3 years and I have had time to explore several restaurants of many types.
Yaletown is a trendy neighborhood in downtown Vancouver known for its vibrant nightlife, high-end boutiques, and diverse cuisine. The area is home to some of the best restaurants in the city, offering a variety of cuisines from Italian and French to Japanese and Indian.
With its best restaurants in Yaletown, it’s a given that you’ll want to explore the best this vibrant neighborhood has to offer. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner for two or a casual night out with friends, Yaletown’s dining options are sure to satisfy your taste buds and leave you wanting more.
So, check out my favorite restaurants in this neighborhood!
Brunch
Brunch had to be my number one favorite restaurant in Yaletown, as it not only has delicious breakfast and brunch food, but it’s also Mexican. My favorite dishes are the chilaquiles half mole, half green sauce; the enchiladas suizas that you can make vegetarian version stuffed with cheese or egg and one of the few places where they prepare amazing “carajillos” a drink made of Esspreso and Liquor 43! And in October, you can find delicious “pan de muerto” (a sugary pastry).
Kinkura
After Mexican food, my favorite is Japanese, and Vancouver is one of the cities with the best sushi because it is a port and has a fairly large Japanese community, so most restaurants are delicious, but my favorite is Kinkura, The place is very nice, they have very tasty vegetarian options and my husband, who is a fan of fish, said that they have the freshest salmon and fish. Their service is just amazing! I recommend the Totem roll which is vegan.

The Happy Noodle
If you are in the mood for some good Noodles and Dumplings, this is the ideal place, the portions are quite large, great if you want to share. The place is family run, and you can see how they are making the noodles on site and offer great service. My favorite dish as a vegetarian is the Shiitake dish with Tofu and Bok Choy.
Nero
Who doesn’t like a waffle breakfast? Nero is a must. Either to go for breakfast with some good Benedictine eggs on a thin waffle, or if you’re craving a dessert, a mini waffle of different flavors. My favorite waffle is the pistachio.
4 Brothers Pizza
Something you can find on almost every corner is a pizza place, but I’m a bit picky about the dough, how greasy it can be, and the ingredients. This pizzeria is run by a family that treats you wonderfully, and who strive to offer you the best ingredients. Their pizzas for me are the best in the area, since they have endless combinations, quality ingredients, many vegetarian options and even gluten-free bread. I am a fan of the “Spicy Mushroom” pizza and the “4 Brothers Special”.
The Moose
Rock, good atmosphere and good hamburgers. A fun place, which has a jukebox for you to play your favorite rock music and a great vibe to go have a few drinks with your friends. The Moose is a Vancouver classic. A good IPA with the Mushroom Veggie Burger is my to go option.
Hundy and The Stock Room
Another delicious burger place. Here it is a 2X1 since Hundy and The Stock Room are in the same place. But Hundy is the main entrance and is more informal, it has a counter where you can order your food and leave quickly. But if you want a place with style, low lights and good music, The Stock Room is tucked away just inside Hundy, being a stylish lounge bar in the area. Perfect to go with a date or your friends. Check out the international desserts and sweets they have, I loved the Froot Loops gummies.
OEB Breakfast
Specialists in breakfasts, OEB is a great option if you like to have eggs or crepes for breakfast. The place has a super extensive menu and the portions are very generous. Remember to call to make a reservation or sign up for their list as it is usually quite full on weekends. I love the omelettes there.
Nuba
If you like Lebanese food, Nuba is a great option. First of all, the place has a very nice decoration. It can get very crowded so reservations are important, but the food is delicious. I usually order the Garden Falafel, a dish with falafel, hummus, and vegetables.
Moltaqa Morrocan
If what you want is a unique experience, Moltaqa has it all. Good food with completely different flavors and fragrances. Show of “belly dance” dancers, a very mystical atmosphere and delicious dishes. The owner of the place is usually there which makes the level and quality of service excellent. The aubergine entry is delicious.
