Your documents

This pouch is perfect to keep your documents organized.

Passport, Visa, itinerary, copy of your documents, credit and debit card and cash. Forget to carry your wallet always, I recommend having a bag of documents special for travel, as well you fit everything in this bag. I recommend this one that you can buy at Amazon.

Personal Hygene

Wipes and cleansing.
Small kit of face and eye creams

They will help you keep your face hydrated and without puffiness in your eyes.

Mini Dry Shampoo

There are a thousand brands out there, but I recommend this one that smells really good.

Make up pouch

This has become my favorite pouch, it’s so useful and you find all your make up really fast. In my case, I cant’ travel without a mini mascara, a lipstick moisturizer, blush, a small toothbrush and a mini toothpaste.

Entertainment

Cell Phone and charger
Rechargeable battery

Headphones
Tablet

With several books downloaded (Kindle) for the flight and the trip in general.

Book

If you’re a fan of the paper yet.

Pen and Notebook

Remember to always consider whether you need to take your laptop and more electronic accessories. If you’re going to need them for the job, of course you have to take them, but if you think you’re not going to use them, it’s best to leave them at home.

Essentials on your Carry-On

Maleta carry-on

Buy a SIM card

Following the issue of electronics, try to bring an unlocked smartphone to be able to add a local SIM card from the country you’re visiting.

Most of the time, it is cheaper than using your country’s plan; and buying a SIM coming to your destination is not complicated.

Travel adaptor

It’s super important to get one of this, as in most of the countries the electrical power changes, and you take the risk of loosing your electronics. You can buy one here.

Lock

Don’t forget to lock your suitcase. If you don’t have one, some zip tides do the job.

Reusable bottle of Water

The water at the airports is expensive and you can find drinking fountains everywhere.

The best thing is that you help the environment by not using plastic bottles all the time. These are my favorites. Click on the image if you want to get one.

Earplugs and eye cover

If you are going to take a long trip remember to bring your ears plugs and cover eyes to be able to rest.

Personal items

Girls… Your DIVA CUP can not be missed! Always put it in your suitcase, you know everything can happen. If you want to know more about this amazing discovery, heres a blog that explains all you’ve got to know.

Small containers for 100 ml liquids.

Make sure all your liquids and gels are in containers smaller than 100 ml (3.4 oz) and store them in a transparent or ziplock pouch.

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • bar soap
  • Contact lens water (if you use duh)
  • Waterless Razors
  • Mosquito Repellent
  • Styling Cream

Choose the perfect outfit

Don’t miss the video of how I pack the perfect carry-on so you can pack everything in a small suitcase.

Clothes

Now let’s go to the coolest part girls, the outfits! Wear the right clothes to look good and be comfortable.

Use only in 3 colors! So you can combine everything and always look perfect.

Pants

1 pair of normal jeans and black stretch jeans. I always wear a pair of normal jeans and other blacks because you can combine them with everything. Choose the colors according to where you go. For example if you go to a big city the black, chalk, white and brown shades are good choices. If you go to a more hot and beachy place, light and bright shades help.

1 Pair of shorts can be denim or some other color.

A maxi skirt and a mini skirt

6 Pairs of Panties

2 tops, 1 bra or bralette either black or beige depending on which color you use more and 1 sports bra.

1 Strapless bra.

6 Pairs of socks

A light rain jacket

A  coat (if you go to a place that deserves it, if not leave it)

4 informal shirts.

2 formal shirts.

A bathing suit or bikini

A comfortable and flirty dress at the same time.

PJ’s.

Accessories and props.

This is what will make everything look different.

2 light pashminas of different style. You can use them as scarves, bandanas or cover up.

1 hat.

Leggings

Poncho

A small purse

2 pair of earrings.

Shoes

One pair of comfortable, neutral-colored tennis that can be used to exercise.

A pair of sandals in neutral color (black or beige)

One pair of boots (as they are the heaviest and large, these you can take on the plane)

Extra: A pair of heels (if you know you’re going to party to some very elegant place, some heels are good choice, but if you are like me who prefers the comfort, better go to a bar or some place more casual haha)

Extras

Snacks

Take snacks to the airport to avoid buying there (it is very expensive). And some airlines no longer offer food, so it’s always best to be prepared.

A suitcase weight

This article can save your budget when it comes to documenting.

Travel pillow

You can inflate this pillow in a couple of breaths, and won’t take much space.

Medicine

And a little KIT with meds. Remember to be prepared for any emergency. I leave some that for me are basic.

  • Paracetamol (Pain)
  • Omeprazole (gastritis)
  • Band Aids
  • Neosporin (scratches, burns, etc)
  • Robax Gold (muscular contracture)
  • Diprospan (inflammatory, larger emergencies, allergies, contracture, pains)
