5 Pet-Friendly Cafes in Vancouver
Vancouver pet-friendly
Table of Contents
Five “pet-friendly” cafes in Vancouver. First of all I want to clarify that I put “pet-friendly” in quotes, because unfortunately, Vancouver is NOT a pet-friendly city, despite the fact that many people have pets, and mostly dogs.
But it is true that there are more and more businesses and cafeterias that ignore these rules and that are known for their cozy outdoor patios and indoor spaces where you can at least enter with your dog and order your coffee without having to leave it tied up in the street.
With that being said, here are the few cafes I know of that are pet-friendly in Vancouver:
Coo Coo Coffee
Address: 477 Davie St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2G2
Coo Coo Coffee is located on Davie on the corner of Richards St and offers a super chill atmosphere with a dog friendly patio. The owners are not only dog lovers, but their love for them is evident with their wall full of photos of their furry clients. They serve a variety of coffee and tea drinks as well as breakfast and lunch options. My favorite combo is the Spanish Latte with oat milk and a Veggie Wrap that is amazing.
Without a doubt Coo Coo Coffee is my number 1.

Analog coffee
Address: 338 Helmcken St, Vancouver, BC V6B 6C5
Café Analog is known for its quality coffee making and friendly service. They have a very nice pet-friendly patio where you can enjoy your coffee with your furry friend, apart from the fact that it is fenced in by flower pots, which makes it very comfortable. They also have various garments throughout Vancouver. My favorite drink is the matcha latte.

Uncle Abe’s
Address: 3032 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5T 3G5
It is not a cafeteria as such, but this restaurant even has a menu for your pets. It is a very cool place, where you can hang out with your friends and your puppies. My dog Maïa tried the “Wagermelon” a bowl with coconut milk, frozen watermelon with a touch of mint.
Please note that policies may have changed, and it’s always best to call ahead to confirm a location’s current pet policy.
JJ Bean
Address: 3010 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5T 3G5
JJ Bean is a local coffee shop with several occasions in Vancouver. Many of their locations have dog-friendly outdoor seating. They offer a wide range of coffee and espresso drinks, as well as homemade baked goods. There are several bells and they generally have a fence, so you can leave your dogs while you order a coffee without them being on the sidewalk.
Breka Bakery and Cafe
Address: 6533 Fraser St, Vancouver, BC V5X 3T4
Breka Bakery & Café is a 24-hour coffee shop that offers a variety of baked goods, sandwiches, and coffee. They have a pet friendly patio where you can enjoy dessert with your pet. They have multiple reviews in Vancouver.
